Jonathan Sistare holds his Juris Doctor degree from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Sistare also received a Master's Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree both from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. Attorney Sistare's work experience includes 3 years as General Counsel for a durable and home medical products firm where he assists the company with all corporate legal issues, and works in-depth on ERISA/PPACA related issues as an advocate for patient's rights to get their proper benefit from their health insurance plan. Attorney Sistare served for 26 years as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, on both active and reserve duty. In 2006-2007, Attorney Sistare was deployed to Iraq and was awarded the Bronze Star medal. When not serving on active duty, Attorney Sistare served as the Town Manager in four communities, Hopkinton, NH, Jaffrey, NH, Salem, NH and Cromwell, CT. Attorney Sistare has practiced law since 2001 except while on military duty. His current and past experience has provided him with a wealth of knowledge in healthcare law, ERISA/PPACA, municipal law, land use law, employment law, contract law and real estate law. His service in the United States Army and subsequent retirement has provided him with extensive experience in military retirement and disability issues, social security disability issues, as well as experience working with the Veteran's Administration as a military veteran.
